A name built on continuity
Nurmen is not an invented brand name. It is derived from the founder’s name, Nur Mohamud, and has represented the firm since its establishment.
Since 2005, the firm has supported sole traders, companies and partnerships with accountancy, tax and business advice shaped by their actual circumstances. The priorities remain straightforward: direct access, careful work and advice that remains useful beyond the immediate transaction or filing deadline.
Nurmen Consulting is established in London by Nur Mohamud Ibrahim as an accountancy and business advisory practice.
The firm develops long-term relationships with owner-managed businesses, companies and partnerships across accountancy, tax and advisory matters.
Nurmen Law Ltd begins operating as a separate legal practice, independently authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Nur Mohamud Ibrahim
Founder and Director, Nurmen Consulting
Nur founded Nurmen Consulting in 2005 and continues to lead the firm’s work across accountancy, tax and business advisory. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Financial Economics from the University of East London and an MSc in Money, Banking and Finance from Middlesex University. He also holds postgraduate qualifications in law, including an LLM, and is a qualified solicitor. He is the founder of Nurmen Law Ltd, a separate regulated legal practice established in 2025. His approach remains grounded in direct engagement, careful analysis and advice that responds to each client’s commercial circumstances.
